Dear Cricket Supporters,

As Secretary of TDCA, I share the belief that cricket in Thoothukudi has untapped potential. Our district has talent — what we now need is structure, opportunity, and support. Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to create a sustainable cricketing ecosystem that consistently produces top-tier players.

To realize this, we have mapped out concrete actions that we are already implementing:

Coach Development Program: Conducting BCCI-aligned training and certification for local coaches to raise coaching standards.

Regular Competitive Exposure: Organizing inter-school, inter-college, and club tournaments, including women’s and junior leagues.

Player Pathway Roadmap: Defining clear steps from district to state selection with proper documentation, mentoring, and guidance.

Player Welfare & Fitness Programs: Incorporating fitness camps, injury prevention, and nutrition awareness into training modules.

Transparency in Selections: Implementing a merit-based, monitored selection process that builds trust among players and parents.

This journey requires passion, patience, and participation from all corners. We are committed to working with integrity, fairness, and professionalism to create a district cricket model that others can look up to.
